You're the one who is insensitive, Olga. It's perfectly normal for people to miss their homeland and to feel strange in a new country. It's also perfectly normal to want to be with others from one's own country. Many people come to the US, not b/c they especially want to be here, but b/c they believe they have to -- for political or economic reasons.
What IS strange is when people have no feelings of loss. Perhaps it wouldn't hurt to read some anthropology, sociology or psychology.
You sound like a thoroughly disagreeable person who is so self-centered that she cannot empathize with anyone else.
Ruslana sounds much more honest. I would rather meet her anyday.

: Why bother to establish contacts with other people at all then? Quality of the person does not depend from his/her nationality but personality. No one asks you to be friends with people you don’t like. But if you hate people of other race and nationality so much, why move to the multicultural country?
