Thanks to everybody! That's right, the only way to get to Ukraine for us is with the Ukrainian visa in Passport. But just agree - how stupid all these still soviet laws are. Russia made these stamps PMP the history long time ago, but Ukraine, even after Propyska was cancelled, still has this atavism... Whatever...

: Olena, just go get a visa as an American citizen. I have not heard from anyone who would be refused in getting the visa because they still have Ukrainian pasport or because you are "still" Ukrainian citizen. Russians do that, but Russians are allowed to travel with 2 pasports. Damn.... Why am I not Russian?... :-)
: P.S. As you said, you are not registered with them. So how do they know what you have, what you don't have, and who you are :-)
