I went to Ukraine as part of the process of getting to know my fiancee, who is now (blessedly) my wife. After being there and having her see life in the West (USA) for the past year, I cannot in any way advise you to live in the Ukraine. Life there is a darwinian hell for the natives and for a foreigner it would be all but impossible without an outside source of income (which would make you a target for the local mafia to exploit or worse). Bring her to your home and you both will never regret it! Good luck!
