Natalie, honestly, your mom risks to be denied again though who knows, maybe the CO will get up with the right leg that morning and will be in a good mood. Your presense will not help significantly and keep in mind that the CO might become even more suspicious after he/she learns that you've been naturalized in the US (as I take it, you were Ukrainian in your previous life, right?), I mean s/he may think you just wanna bring your mom over to the US and then your mom will claim AOS without having to leave the country. But this is just a concern I'd have. Other people might have different thoughts so, please, do some further research.

: I am an American citizen, my mother lives in the Ukraine. I am planning to go to American embassy in Kiev with her this summer and ask for her visitor's visa.(She was denied once in 1996). Does anybody have any experience with their close relatives going thru the same procedure? what documents help? What questions are asked? and How can I help HER get a visa? Will be very thankful for your help.
