Hi, Michigander, Thank you for your msg. I found more info about the registration on Brama after I posted my question on the chat site. You won't have to register to vote since you had recent contacts with the Consulate and are already included in the list of voters. That cuts your travel to Chicago by one time. If there's a 2d round of elctions you'll have to go twice. Congratulations on your UK citizenship, you're much ahead of me. I am a US citizen, born in Ukraine. It's too late for me to vote for UK president for this term, I'll try to re-instate my Ukrainian citizenship as soon as I can. I was inquiring on behalf of my friends who think as you do: elections are too important, it's a shame to waste your vote. We all live an hour away from Detroit and didn't make an effort in advance to stir up Chetverta Khvylja in Warren, MI. I heard that there's a loose organization and hope we all will be more prepared next time. Meanwhile, people who are eligible will try to travel to Chicago on the election day, the visitor visa holders (mamusi-babusi)are not included in the lists and will miss this elections.
