In your situation, I dont think you can adjust your status while in the US. You will have to go back to Ukraine and then reenter. The length of your stay in Ukraine will be determined based on how long did you stay in the US after your visa expired. I dont think that in terms of adjusting your status after being illigal it matters that your husband is in the military. It looks like your situation is quite complex and it might be a good idea to see an immigration lawyer. A lot of people get in trouble while trying to fix their immigration problerms themselves.
