I do not speak or represent for other NGO entities.
We select students to go to the best universities on university based full financial aid packages which are 95 percent scholarships for both tuition and room and board. Books and travel are not included.
We are well informed and our applications are very demanding academically and in terms of English. We select our students well. Our high school students scored as high as 1340 on the SAT Is this year in three cases. Our Writing SAT II had a 660 average.
We take students from peripheral cities. Our students are virtually the ONLY ones taking American college entrance exams in Kharkiv every year. So we provide a service. We represent a plurality of the degree earning undergraduates from Ukraine (excluding immigrants) in the USA especially at the top universities. Our scholarship students this year are from Donetsk, Vinnitsa, Sevastopol, and Zaporizhzhia. Our other students finishing their undergraduate stat or still in college are from Poltava, Mirhorod, Kerch (2), and Dnipropetrovsk.
It is unrealistic to expect young people still in school or just finishing it to have an impact on Ukraine.
One of our students has just spoken to me from Poltava of her culture shock when coming back.
Rome was not built in one day.
We will not include Kyiv for a long time.
