F-1 dilemma-question
I came to the USA on student F-1 visa a couple years ago. After my graduation from the collage, I applied for another Visa and now my documents are in process. INS says it takes from 90-150 days to resolve my case. In the present moment, I don’t have a driver license and I don’t have any identification cards.
QUESTION: I would like to travel by airplane in the near future, but I’m scare that when I will show my Passport as an ID card, I will get in trouble, because my F1 visa already expired. Do you think I will have a trouble with that? I consider myself still legal in this country, since my documents are pending. Should I take a risk and fly with my passport and document from INS about present status? Do you think, it is possible in my situation to get a valid driver license? I have my social security card.
Thanks for any help
