But the license that you get that way will not be a legal one. It will be a fraudulently obtained license. If you are caught with such a license, you will be arrested, the immigration service will be notified, and you will be placed into deportation proceedings.
Probably the same thing would happen to a person who drives without a license, but at least that person has not lost $2000.
I think that the laws which prevent people who are not in legal status from getting driver's licenses are ridiculous, but buying a fraudulent license does not help anyone, except the person who is taking advantage of others by selling the licenses and making money.
