My, my John.....we're a bit testy are we? I fear "another Lesia" has truly identified the problem -- an incredible ignorance! I fear I disagree with her view that one must be kind to such as you, at least during Lent, but, human frailty being what it is, will extend to you a further kindness.
In the vein of "if you teach him how to fish....." I am willing to provide you with suitable instruction on how to form Cyrillic characters. Cyrillic alphabets of course have some letters in common with the Latin alphabet so we'll start with the Cyrillic equivalent of the Latin "B". Now pay attention! First draw a line straight down. Next, to the bottom half of that line, on the right hand side, attach a backward lower case "c". Now go back to the top of your original vertical line and extend from it a horizontal line the width of the letter. Viola!! You've formed a Cyrillic "B". Now repeat this exercise at least two dozen times.
I do of course hope your intended has at least one "b" in her name or address. When you do write to her ask her to explain the concept of "duren" to you.
