Sorry, guys, but there's no encouragement here. They have this stupid regulation that you have to prove tight connections with your home country and tight connections are recognised as such mostly by solid financial position of the applicant. Say he or she has a proven source of substantial income or capital or something like that. In other words an applicant shopuld have no reason to seek illegal job in the US, or stay illegally in the US. I know it's justice backwards (you are considered guilty until proven unnocent) but that's how it is.
Sometimes it's easier to obtain a green-card for a parent, than a tourist visa. If your wife is a US citizen - consider that option.
