Toronto Lecture about Kyiv Patriarchate
The Center for the Kyiv Patriarchate is pleased to announce a lecture by Archbishop ALEXANDER, ruling bishop of the Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church, Kyiv Patriarch on December 11, 1999, at 2:00 PM in the Royal Canadian Legion, 72 Durie street, Toronto, Ontario, Bloor West Village.
Bishop ALEXANDER recently celebrated his 50th year as an Ukrainian Orthodox priest. He and his parishes have been part of the Kyiv Patriarchate longer than any other parishes in North America. Bishop ALEXANDER will discuss the history of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church and her future in Canada and the United States. The Patriarch recently visited the United States. The visit will also be discussed by Bishop ALEXANDER.
