GATSBY TO HELP US HELP THE CHILDREN!
WHO: HELP US HELP THE CHILDREN, INC. is a voluntary, non-profit, charitable organization working to improve the quality of life and health of children living in orphanages in Ukraine. In the U.S.A., they work in conjunction with their sister organizations in Ukraine and Canada to provide clothing, shoes, school supplies, medicines, professional help and moral support to children as well as their caregivers.
WHAT: Help Us Help The Children, Inc. in the Detroit Metropolitan area invites the public to a fundraiser event -- a Gatsby Silent and Live Auction.
WHY: To fundraise monies that will be used to support orphans in Ukraine directly. Members of the Detroit Metro area Help Us Help The Children, Inc. have travelled to the orphanages to disperse and follow-up on aid. They have seen firsthand the dire need of all age groups and have dedicated themselves to provide what the Ukrainian government can not at this time.
WHERE: The Castle (a mansion built in 1898 and located a half-block from the Detroit River)
