After a very successful Opening Event on May 2, 1999 attended by over 100 people – ambassadors, Verkhovna Rada Deputies, government representatives, bankers, diplomatic and business representatives – who donated 200 hr each for a wonderful benefit jazz concert by the Yuriy Shepeta Band, cocktails and elegant dinner at the Government Of Ukraine Building of Receptions, two more events are planned to raise money for the renovation of the entrance to the Museum in time for its 100^th Anniversary celebration this August.
