Annual Spring Retreat with Bishop ALEXANDER
starts May 16th at St. Anthony's Orthodox Monastery
Bishop will bless Bass Lake on Saturday, May 22
Bass Lake, Indiana, April 22, 1999: The Annual Spring Retreat with Bishop ALEXANDER starts at St. Anthony of the Kiev Caves Orthodox Monastery on Sunday evening, May 22. The bishop will be in residence at the monastery throughout the week. Special services and liturgies will be conducted. Bishop ALEXANDER will also be visiting the homes of the faithful in the area as well as the graves of the departed.
This is a working retreat. In addition to the services, Bishop ALEXANDER and retreatants will also lend a hand with painting, planting flowers, general repairs around the monastery and other needed work.
On Saturday, May 22, following the Divine Liturgy at 10:00 AM, there will be a processional to Bass Lake where the bishop will bless the lake. A luncheon will follow at the monastery

St. Anthony of the Kiev Caves Orthodox Monastery is part of the worldwide Ukrainian Orthodox Church under the leadership of His Holiness Patriarch FILARET.
The monastery is located at 4275 South 700 East Road in Bass Lake, Indiana.
