'Kiev' restaurant joins NYC Ukrainian American community in commemorations of election day with prayer and rally

NEW YORK, December 21 - Community, business and religious leaders in the Ukrainian section of Manhattan will gather with Ukrainian actress Oksana Lada to commemorate Election Day in Ukraine. Religious leaders will hold a prayer vigil for peace in the homeland in one of the most controversial elections in history. The restaurant Kiev is hosting this rally and community event as a public service on Sunday, December 26th at 11:00 a.m., 117 2nd Avenue at E.7th Street in Manhattan.

Oxana Lada is one of the most successful Ukrainian actresses having starred in HBO's hit series "The Sopranos" and also recently appeared in "CSI: Miami" on CBS. She is a Ukrainian citizen and resides in New York City.
