    A poem for the Ukrainian nation

    Василь МАХНО

    Київському Майданові

    вони що виходять в цей зимний оранж
    і мерзнуть майданом зі всіх україн
    очищують землю від зеків й параш
    вони україни - живий патронташ
    земний їм уклін

    вони - ця промерзла горлянка “Ганьба” –
    це нація наша явилася – блін –
    виблискують голови київських бань
    іди на майдан – разом з іншими стань
    земний їм уклін

    вони що простояли перед лицем
    історії – знову стоять і стоять
    щоб зеки не змилися раптом тихцем
    за щоку сховавши вкрадений цент
    стоять!

    вони ще стоять - і нема перемог –
    вона в пелені цього снігу і стін
    я вірю – із ними стоїть Господь Бог
    і мерзне із ними - бо
    земний їм уклін!
