Kerry-Edwards fundraiser brings ethnic groups together
Washington, DC - A Kerry-Edwards fundraiser on July 14 attracted numerous members of various ethnic diasporas, including Central and Eastern European and Baltic community representatives. Seen in the photo are Ted Jonas and Job Henning of the Georgian Association, and Natalie Gawdiak of the local Ukrainian American community. Also in attendance (not pictured) were the former U.S. ambassador to the Czech Republic, Jenonne R. Walker, and Asta Banionis of the Lithuanian American Community, Inc.
In the photo: Melissa Adamson of McGuireWoods firm welcomes the guests attending the Kerry-Edwards fundraiser. Ms. Adamson has no Ukrainian heritage, but speaks Ukrainian fluently.
