BRAMA, May 4, 2004, 1:00 pm ET Press Release 40 years of dedicated community service… Roma Pryma-Bohachevsky is an internationally recognized prima ballerina and choreographer who has dedicated her life to the promotion of Ukrainian Dance. She has passed on the magic and excitement of Ukrainian dance to the hundreds and thousands of children who have passed through her dance schools, workshops and summer camps. With boundless energy and commitment, she has worked tirelessly, imparting her passion and love for the Ukrainian dance to the next generation. She has ensured that this precious cultural treasure will not perish. In celebration of her 40 years of commitment to teaching Ukrainian dance, a gala jubilee concert is being planned. It will be held at Lincoln Center in New York on November 13, 2004. The Ukrainian National Association is uniting with the Parents’ Committee of her studio in Whippany, NJ, to help raise funds for this spectacular event. Your support of this project will allow our beloved “Pani Roma” and her passionate and brilliant dancers to bring their signature whirlwind entertainment to you and hundreds in the audience.
