American-Ukrainian Dinners
The Rev. Pastor and the Parish Council are pleased to announce that the traditional and very popular American-Ukrainian dinners, suspended during the summer months, will be served again at the Parish Hall every
Friday, from 4:30 P.M. till 6:00 P.M. beginning Friday, September 5, 2003.
The dinner menu will consist, as in the past, of two kinds of Ukrainian varenyky (known to many as "pierogi") filled with potato/cheese and with cabbage, two kinds of Ukrainian
holubtsi (cabbage rolls) with and without hamburger meat, baked chicken or sausage, and Ukrainian
borshch (beet soup), which may be omitted in favor of cold fruit punch during very warm days. Also bread or rolls and butter.
The dessert, included in the price of dinner, consists of two pieces of fresh home baked Ukrainian pastries (baked and donated by the ladies of our parish) and coffee or tea.
EVERYONE IS WELCOME!
Take outs are also available. For large take out orders kindly telephone earlier in the day at (941) 423-2427.
The parking lot is located between the church and Parish Hall at the corner of Biscayne Drive and West Price Boulevard, two-and-one half miles due north from Tamiami Trail (US 41). Individuals who do not drive can use SCAT (Sarasota County Area Transit) bus No. 19, Price Blvd. The bus stop is conveniently located across the street from the church.
