Jenkintown, PA Miss Universe, Justine Pasek is greeted by Borys Zacharczuk, President of
The Ukrainian Educational and Cultural Center
with the traditional Ukrainian bread and salt ceremony. Miss Pasek is in town as spokesperson
for the fight against HIV/AIDS. The UECC together with the Ukrainian American
Medical Association (www.umana.org) dedicated the entire day yesterday
to the HIV/AIDS situation in Ukraine and Ukrainian orphans begining with an
informative forum in the morning and ending with a evening banquet which was attended
by Miss Pasek.
A press conference with Miss Pasek will take place at noon today in Philadelphia at
Independence Hall (6th and Market).
