Each of Five Enterprises of Ukrainian Power Industry Uses EnTechEco’s Resource Management Software
Kharkov, Ukraine (3/21/03) EnTechEco, the leading Ukrainian developer and provider of enterprise resource planning systems, reports achievements in 2002. Andrew Zubenko, EnTechEco’s CEO, believes the passed year was the time of exciting growing in quality.
The Certificate confirming the correspondence of the quality management of the resource planning software development, implementation and support processes to the ISO 9001:2000 standard requirements illuminates the tendency. Besides, at the end of 2002, company’s main program product - the financial accounting and resource management system Financial Collection - was certified as corresponding to the National quality standard for computer software (Ukrainian standard DSTU 2850-94).
The qualitative growth was accompanied by the quantitative changes - the number of clients notedly increased. All the projects directed on the implementation of automation systems and their support, audit and reengineering of business processes were performed in time and within budgets.
So, the system for fuel and raw materials supply monitoring was launched into industrial exploitation at the one of the largest Ukrainian power-generating company CentrEnergo. The system enables centralized controlling the resources of both the separate power plants entering CentrEnergo and the whole company. At the moment such information system is unique in the Ukrainian power industry.
Up to now, assuming the available information, EnTechEco’s systems developed are the most common resource management software in the Ukrainian power industry, working (or being under implementation) at near 20% of heat-power-generating and power-supplying companies.
In 2002, EnTechEco’s resource management systems provided had substantially enriched functionality.
"Analytics" is a new module entering Financial Collection. The used OLAP-technologies allow on-line analysis and convenient visualization of various information. Due to that, top managers and specialists acquire possibilities they never have before to control complex companies like corporations, holdings, branched nets of affiliates.
The main feature of the new version of Maintenance management system is the presence of GIS-module, which substantially expands functionality in organizing maintenance on spatially distributed objects. This is particularly important for fuel/energy enterprises (generation and distribution of electricity and heat, gas/oil mining and transportation), transport (railway, subway) and some other branches of the Ukrainian economy.
The promotion of automated budgeting systems were in progress. In particular, the successful implementation of Comshare MPC system (developed by Comshare Inc., USA) in the telecommunication company Optima Telecom is worth mentioning. This is first in Ukraine implementation of the system included the integration of Comshare MPC with the accounting system used at Optima Telecom earlier.
"High status and permanent care for all customers, keeping them extremely adaptable and widely fit to their survival on the forefront" are the main goals of EnTechEco’s corporate strategy accepted in 2002.
Company’s new organization structure in action, further improving the methodologies of implementation and support, the system for registration and analysis of requests and propositions of customers, elaboration of multivariant schemes of consulting and technical service etc. are believed to guarantee reaching the main goals proclaimed in the corporate strategy.
