Two New Ukrainian Power Children's Videos
Ukrainian Power Videos, Inc. promotes the Ukrainian language and culture in a series of videos featuring six adorable puppets. Boomchyk, our loveable purple monster host, teaches the children of Alphabet Village various Ukrainian words in this four-part series. Milya, an English-speaking puppet, translates to keep non-Ukrainian viewers up to speed. (Closed captioning is provided and translated English text for each volume is available on the Videos page at www.ukrainianpower.com)
Children fell in love with the friendly Ukrainian Power cast in Volume 1: "Learning the Alphabet" and Volume 2: "Songs and Games."
The fun and learning continue in two NEW volumes. In Volume 3: "Calendar Fun," children learn days of the week, months of the year and season in Ukrainian. This video makes learning Ukrainian fun through the use of original songs and a touch of animation.
In Volume 4: "Boomchyk's Birthday," children learn about manners, party games and the names of family members in Ukrainian.
You can order the new volumes on www.ukrainianpower.com or by calling 1-866-898-6208. Videos available in NTSC, PAL and Secam formats. Videos retail for $20 each. Receive a $10 discount if you order all four Ukrainian Power volumes.
"Ukrainian Power is committed to offering the Ukrainian community first-rate products and a first-rate internet experience," says Ukrainian Power creator Olga Halaburda. "Our goal is to make learning Ukrainian fun for children."
Ukrainian Power recently redesigned it's web site and offers a number of FREE interactive games. A brand new game, sponsored by Ukraine Travel Agency, has just been added. More games will be added to the site as sponsors become available.
