EnTechEco Finished 'Ukrainian' Stages of Implementing Technological Process Control System for Aksu ferroalloys plant

Under the contract between Khartron and EnTechEco Ltd. from the one side and Aksu ferroalloys plant (the subsidiary of KazKhrom Corporation, Aksu, Kazakh Republic) from the other, the stages on development, integration and preliminary acceptance of Technological Process Control System by the customer have been completed.

Under the contract, EnTechEco performs works according to the technical requirements on creating control system for the technological process of dry gas-cleaning for two ferroalloy furnaces.

The project performer was chosen under the tender held in summer 2000. Three proposals were submitted to the tender but as the main participants the joint group by Khartron and EnTechEco and the “Vega plus” firm (Zaporozhye, Ukraine) were considered. Having evaluated and analyzed submitted proposals, Kazakh party preferred proposition by Khartron and EnTechEco.

The information and mathematical model design, development and testing, as well as the equipment preparation and composition were performed at EnTechEco production base (Kharkov, Ukraine), using SCADA-system “SINTAR-2B”, being the original product by Khartron and EnTechEco, proven many times efficient while projecting technological process control systems. To test the system thoroughly, the special complex simulation equipment was created where the mathematical model of the controlled object acted. The customer was provided with the system functioned in its “natural” environment, just like if it was already connected to the technological object.

The results of work were approved and accepted by the customer.

To date, the control system has been delivered to Aksu ferroalloys plant (Aksu, Kazakh Republic). Providers are about to realize the finishing stage - system installation on plant objects, tuning, preliminary exploitation and final system acceptance by the customer.
