UECC is processing applications for Austrian Compensation

The Ukrainian Educational and Cultural Center [Philadelphia, PA] is currently processing applications to the Austrian Forced Labor Compensation Program. If you were forcibly taken to Austria between 1939 to the end of the war in 1945 for work, or if you were put in a concentration camp, ghetto, or other place of confinement, you may be eligible for $2,000 to $15,000 compensation. You may also apply if the following occurred: you were a child taken with your parents; a child born to parents in forced labor; or you may apply for a husband, wife, or child who died after February 15, 2000 (heirs of the deceased may also apply).

If you are interested in applying, we can fill out and notarize your application for a donation fee of $50 ($35 for UECC members). We have done hundreds of applications to date. Applications to the Austrian Forced Labor Compensation Program will be accepted until November 2002. Acceptance of applications to the German Forced Labor Compensation Program ended on December 31, 2001.
