UECC is processing applications for Austrian Compensation
The Ukrainian Educational
and Cultural Center [Philadelphia, PA] is currently processing applications to the Austrian Forced
Labor Compensation Program. If you were forcibly taken to Austria between 1939
to the end of the war in 1945 for work, or if you were put in a concentration
camp, ghetto, or other place of confinement, you may be eligible for $2,000 to
$15,000 compensation. You may also apply if the following occurred: you were a
child taken with your parents; a child born to parents in forced labor; or you
may apply for a husband, wife, or child who died after February 15, 2000 (heirs
of the deceased may also apply).
If you are interested in
applying, we can fill out and notarize your application for a donation fee of
$50 ($35 for UECC members). We have done hundreds of applications to date.
