Ukrainian Power Videos releases interactive game

Milford, Michigan — Ukrainian Power Videos, Inc. announces the release of its first interactive game on the ukrainianpower.com web site. Children and parents can now play a game on the internet which teaches colors in Ukrainian. The game is free to anyone who logs onto www.ukrainianpower.com. The game features a segment from Ukrainian Power: Volume 2, Songs and Games.

The interactive game begins with Boomchyk Borovyk telling children that he's thinking of a color. Children are then instructed to choose a color. Their choice paints a picture.

"Ukrainian Power's mission is to get children excited about learning Ukrainian," said Olga Halaburda, Ukrainian Power president." And this interactive game is another tool parents can use to teach their children Ukrainian words. Beyond that, it's just fun," Halaburda said.

The Ukrainian Future Credit Union of Warren, Michigan sponsored the interactive game.

"We are very excited about sponsoring this interactive Ukrainian game. Anything we can do to promote the preservation of the Ukrainian language and heritage is a benefit to our entire community," said Andrew Jakymowych, Treasurer and Manager of the Ukrainian Future Credit Union of Warren, Michigan.

Halaburda says Ukrainian Power Videos hopes to get more games on the web site soon. It is selling sponsorships to Ukrainian individuals and businesses. Cost of sponsoring a new interactive game is $500 and can be shared by interested individuals and businesses. For details send e-mail to olga@ukrainianpower.com or call Ukrainian Power Videos, Inc.
