La Defense
Looking east from the center of the Esplanade de La Defense there is a straight line vista
to L'Arc de Triomphe beyond which is the boulevard Champs-Elysees.
Turning 180 degrees to the west,
there is a straight line view to La Grande Arche, a gigantic open cube into which the Notre Dame
Cathedral could easily fit.
