September 12, 2001 - Avenue A and 14th Street has been a graffiti corner for years, the most recent wall art dedicated to the memory of Princess Di.
Local artists recovered the wall today in the wake of New York's greatest disaster - the terrorist destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers on September 11.
A memorial to those who perished or survived with injuries was quickly constructed and local residents wasted no time taking the opportunity to express their grief.
