URGENT MESSAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Given the travesty of yesterday's terrorist bombings, several things are being cancelled (or at least postponed) here in Washington, DC.
First of all, the premiere screening of "The Undefeated," which was to take place on Tuesday, September 18, 2001 in Loew's Theater in Dupont Circle is POSTPONED!
Secondly, the congressional gala banquet for Wednesday evening, September 19, 2001 is also being called off (not known whether we will rescheudle the event). That decision will be made in the next several days and I will keep you informed.
Furthermore, the UCCA Executive Board meeting for saturady, September 15 is being postponed to a future date in October, and the internet chat, scheduled for today, is also being postponed for a future date.

with the UCCA President to Focus on the III World Forum of Ukrainians and Ukraine’s 10th Anniversary Independence New York, NY (UCCA) – Following the successful internet chats with the UCCA president, where issues dealing with the future of the Ukrainian-American community in the 21st century and the Ukrainian Famine-Genocide were posed, the UCCA has decided to resume regular internet chats (post summer vacation season) to bring as many topics to the forefront as possible through the electronic medium. The internet chats will be held on an ongoing monthly basis, generally the first Wednesday of every month at 1pm EST. The third internet chat will be held on Wednesday, September 12, 2001. Interested individuals are asked to go to the UCCA’s website at http://www.ucca.org/chat and enter "Room #1." The topic of the second live internet chat will be "The III World Forum of Ukrainians and the celebration of Ukraine’s 10th Anniversary of Renewed Independence?" While on the UCCA’s website, one may partake in the plethora of information provided to the community. News from Ukraine (in both English and Ukrainian), information about the UCCA’s various projects and publications, and a community news and calendar bulletin board are just some of the standard features on the site. The community is welcome to visit the website and use it as a means for their information on events in both Ukraine and within our community.

Третя розмова інтернeтом Нью Йорк, НЙ (УККА) – За результатами успішних розмов інтернетом з президентом УККА з питань українсько-американської громади у 21-му столітті та українського голодомору-ґеноциду, УККА вирішив відновити постійні розмови інтернетом (після сезону літніх вакацій) для того, щоб привернути увагу до якнайбільшої кількости тем з допомогою електонних засобів спілкування.
