Trypillian.com incorporates designs from ancient Ukraine into contemporary wares
|
Trypillian, the New Jersey-based ceramics studio of Myron and Marika Bokalo, recently launched its new web site, www.Trypillian.com. The site offers a large selection of original ceramic work with designs dating back to one of Europe¹s oldest civilizations, the Trypillians, whose culture flourished thousands of years ago in an area that is now part of Ukraine. Trypillian.com's gallery pages provide a large choice of hand-painted vases, pitchers, plates and wedding favors. There is also an "Ornaments" section with decorative ceramic and glass Christmas ornaments, hand-painted with Trypillian designs. A brief history of the Trypillian culture can be found in the "History" section, while the "About Us" page contains information about the Bokalos' studio. Information about purchasing Trypillian's ceramics is provided in the "Contact Us" section of the web site. Trypillian.com was created by New Jersey-based freelance web designer, Katya Wowk.
