A monument grows in Kyiv

Workers have been at it round-the-clock in Kyiv's Maidan Nezalezhnist (Independence Square) to complete a new monument. The rush is on to have it finished in time for August 24th when Ukraine celebrates its 10th year as an independent state.

A drawing of the plans for the square with the monument is provided below by 1+1 TV.
