UKRAINE: The Energy Hub of Europe
The trend towards market relations in the energy sector
21st and 22nd March 2001, The President Hotel, Kyiv,

Being held under the auspices of The Committee for Oil, Gas, Nuclear Policy and Nuclear Safety of the Verkhovna Rada (Ukrainian Parliament) and The Ministry of Fuel and Energy, Ukraine
The conference will highlight the significance of Ukraine in the transit of energy supplies to Europe; reforms in the fuel and energy sector; the investment climate; and prospects for privatisation of Ukraine’s gas transmission system. A wide circle of policymakers from the Government of Ukraine, senior oil, gas and energy company executives, and international investors and business professionals will be in attendance.
A panel of expert speakers has been confirmed, and will include keynote
presentations by:
Stepan Havrish, Vice Speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament and
Yuriy Yekhanurov, First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine.
