Ukrainian Art & Literary Club presents:
Literary Evening with Lubov Dmytryshyn-Chasto

The Ukrainian Art & Literary Club presents an evening dedicated to the literary work of Lubov Dmytryshyn-Chasto. Participants: Ludmyla Wolanska - introduction; Lubov Dmytryshyn - "Road to Creativity"; Tania Yakymenko - poetry; Lavrentia Turkewicz - prose excerpts; Natalia Honcharenko - singing; Michael Andrec - bandura.

Ms. Dmytryshyn began her writing career in Ukraine where she worked as a journalist for the Lviv and Zakarpattia press (1960-1990), including Zakarpats'ka Pravda in Uzhhorod. In New York, she has edited the Veselka magazine for children and is currently editor-in-chief of the National Tribune periodical.

Ms. Dmytryshyn's first book appeared in print in 1981. Her literary works depict the harsh conditions of Ukrainian life under the Soviet regime.
