New release: Children’s language videos

MILFORD, MI (October 18, 2000) - Ukrainian Power Videos, Inc. of Milford, Michigan has announced the international release of children’s educational videos, Ukrainian Power, Volume One and Two.

www.ukrainianpower.com

Ukrainian Power, Volume One is a thirty-minute video that incorporates music, song and dance introducing children to the Ukrainian alphabet, using a cast of six puppets to teach the Ukrainian language. Ukrainian Power, Volume Two teaches counting, colors, words and body parts through songs and games. Each video also includes an English speaking puppet that introduces every new scene.

Olga Halaburda is president of Ukrainian Power Videos, Inc. and the producer of the children’s educational videos. The idea to produce this "one of a kind" educational language video originated when Olga’s niece, Natalie Kraj, of Milford, MI was born. Olga searched for a Ukrainian children’s video to help Natalie learn Ukrainian words but was unable to find any. Olga contemplated the benefits that a Ukrainian children’s video would bring to children around the world. As a television news reporter, Olga decided to create her own video and founded Ukrainian Power Videos, Inc. Sesame Street puppeteer, Rick Lyon, of Bloomfield, New Jersey has been commissioned to create the puppets for Ukrainian Power Videos.

Ukrainian Power, Volume One and Volume Two retail for $20.00 each and can be purchased by calling 1-866-898-6208 or by logging onto www.ukrainianpower.com which is the Ukrainian Power Videos, Inc. website.
