У суботу о 12 годині ми запрошуємо вас взяти участь у "ланцюговому поході" в рамках акції "Знайдіть журналіста Георгія Гонгадзе".

Збір учасників акції проходитиме біля офісу "Української правди" по вулиці Володимирській, 83 (на перетині вулиць Саксаганського та Володимирської).

Учасники акції пройдуть ланцюгом від "Української правди" до Майдану Незалежності.

A human chain in support of the search for Heorhyi Honhadze is being organized by "Ukrayinska Pravda (UP)". UP is the publication where the missing journalist was employed. Supporters are asked to gather by the UP headquarters located at 83 Volodymyrska vul., at the corner of Saksahanska vul. in Kyiv. Participants in the human chain will be lined from UP to Maidan Nezalezhnosti (Independence Square).

IREX's ProMedia Information and Press Center (IPC) in Kiev, Ukraine held a press conference on Tuesday, September 19 about the disappearance of journalist Heorhiy Honhadze (Gongadze). A second press conference is scheduled at the IREX ProMedia office in Kyiv, Ukraine on September 21 at 12 noon. All media organizations are invited. Honhadze visited the U.S. in December 1999, meeting with community and press organizations in search of support for a proposed free press group. Upon his return to Ukraine, Honhadze and his colleagues established "Ukrayinska Pravda", which has rapidly acquired a reputation as a publication critical of Ukraine's current government.
