Telling The Story Of Ukraine Through Postcards

WHAT: "Ukraine In Old Postcards" an outstanding, unique, new book published in April 2000. Only 1,000 copies have been printed.

The book has over 500 pages and shows pictures of 8,000 Ukraine postcards depicting the history of Ukraine.  One hundred pages are in color.  A majority of the postcards were published prior to 1918.

The project to publish this amazing book, telling the story of Ukraine, her people, her culture, her leaders, and her artists, has been underway for four years. You will be pleased to have a copy of this book in your library and the book makes a great gift.

WHO:  Michael Zabochen, Olexander Polishchuk and Volodimir Yatsyuk are the authors of the book.  Their work to complete the monumental task of finding the postcards, organizing them, writing the text and publishing the book privately has taken thousands of hours.

This is the most complete index of postcards for one country ever published.  The book is in Ukrainian with some English and German text. You will find hundreds and hundreds of amazing images of Ukraine in the book. The Ukraine Postcard Book Committee thanks the United Nations Development Program for their support.

WHERE: The book, "Ukraine In Old Postcards" sells for $ 100.00, delivered in Europe, United States, Canada and elsewhere around the world.  This price includes all shipping charges to the final destination.  For copies of the book please contact the Ukraine Postcard Book Committee, Morgan Williams in Kyiv, Ukraine, 380 44 212 5586; mobile telephone 380 44 459 3322, email, Morgan@ArtUkraine.com
