Central Ukraine: through the eyes of past and present Kirovohrad
-- UCCA "brown bag lunch" series
New York - The Ukrainian Congress Committee of America (UCCA) is hosting its first brown bag lunch of 2000 on Thursday, May 11th at 12PM. The event will be held at the UCCA National Office located at 203 Second Avenue (between 12th and 13th Streets) in New York City.
The brown bag lunch topic will be "Central Ukraine: through the eyes of past and present Kirovohrad." The guest speaker, Pavlo Boseyy, the producer and scriptwriter of a 51-minute documentary film entitled "A Chain to Join two Worlds: Historical links of Central Ukraine with Britain" will discuss the history and current situation of Kirovohrad. Additionally, excerpts of the above mentioned film will be shown.
Please join us on May 11th. As the program name states, should you like to eat during the session, we ask that you bring your own "brown bag" lunch. Coffee and soda will be provided for our guests. To register, please call the UCCA Office at (212) 228-6840.
The UCCA is a not-for-profit, education institution, which has raised awareness of Ukraine and represented the interests of the Ukrainian American community for 60 years.
