"Women Lawmakers' Networking Day"
WASHINGTON, DC - The U.S.-Ukraine Foundation in cooperation with the National Foundation for Women Legislators, Inc and the Business Women's Network would like to bring to your attention the "2000 Women Lawmakers' Networking Day" on April 6-7 in the Nation's Capital.
Held every spring in Washington D.C., the Women Lawmakers' Networking Day serves as a networking forum for women state legislators who gather for meetings with their national counterparts and for briefings from members of the Congress and the Cabinet. They also participate in an Awards Luncheon at the Press Club, at which Media Awards Winners, Women of Achievement, and Entrepreneurs of the Year are recognized.
Space is limited. Registration is $150.00 per person.
If you are interested in attending this event and would like to learn more about it please call NFWL: 202 337 3565 or BWN :202 466 8212 and request the information and registration materials about the "Women Lawmakers' Networking Day."
We would also appreciate receiving confirmation of your participation in the conference at the office of the U.S-Ukraine Foundation. Our telephone: 202 347 4264; fax: 202 347 4267; e-mail: chrystia@usukraine.org.
Note: A Ukrainian-American presence at such a visible event would be very desireable. Also, we have extended an invitation to Oleksanda Kuzhel- a prominent woman on the Ukrainian political scene in the Ukrainian government today.
