Documentary Film "Eternal Memory" To Show in Los Angeles *

Los Angeles, CA - The 81 minute documentary film "Eternal Memory: Voices from the Great Terror" will be showing Los Angeles, California March 18-19 at the Laemmle Sunset Theater (10:00 AM each day) and March 25-26 at the Laemmle Monica Theater (11:00 AM each day) -- please confirm show times w/theater.

Shot almost entirely in Ukraine, "Eternal Memory" is about the Stalinist Purges and Terror in the late 1930's and 1940's. This award winning film has been to several major film festivals around the world, including most recently, The Kyiv International Film Festival - Molodist in October 1999.

This riveting documentary includes interviews with Ukrainian witnesses and survivors of the Terror, public officials, and noted historians. Some of them include Zbigniew Brzezinski, former US National Security Advisor, Robert Conquest of Stanford University and Roman Szporluk of Harvard University.

"Eternal Memory" has been shown at The Ukrainian Institute of America in New York as well as for a number of other community groups.

* Note: "Eternal Memory" will also be showing February 29 (7:30 PM) and March 1 (9:00 PM) at the Strand Theater in Delaware, Ohio (Outside of Columbus). Check the Brama Community Events Calendar for locations and showtimes.
