NIS Regional Program Manager
Environmental Partnership Grants Program

The Institute of International Education (IIE) is accepting applications for the position of Regional Program Manager for EcoLinks in the New Independent States (NIS). EcoLinks, a USAID-funded program, builds the capacity of businesses and local governments in the region to develop market-based solutions to urban and industrial environment problems. Grants are offered to facilitate cross-border partnerships between the region and the U.S. or within the region. Additional information can be accessed at www.ecolinks.org. The position will be based in one of the IIE offices in Kiev, Almaty, Khabarovsk or Budapest. Responsibilities include supervision of program officers and their office operations in three countries, outreach to potential applicants, and program coordination with partner organizations and other EcoLinks divisions. Qualifications include at least five years of environmental experience (at least two years in the NIS region), understanding of market-based approaches to environmental problem-solving, supervisory experience, strong program management skills, and fluency in English and Russian. Experience with USAID projects or grants management is desirable but not required. Please send an application letter and CV with salary requirements by January 31 to:
