    SALUS Foundation - Lviv, Ukraine

    SALUS FOUNDATION

The SALUS Foundation is one of the strongest NGOs in the Western Ukraine. It has a lot of plans for future. The Foundation's staff is developing the programmes in different directions, but one of the most important fields of it's activities should become the work with the trafficked women. SALUS cooperates with about 10 NGOs from the Central Europe dealing with trafficked women. Recently, SALUS participated in the Seminar of coordinators of LA STRADA in Warsaw. The general opinion is that Lviv, because its geographical position on the crossroad from West to East, is the perfect place for developing activities with victims of trafficking. That is why SALUS is looking for partners to develop this activity, because NGOs from the Central Europe are already sending the trafficked women to the SALUS Sexual Health Centre for STD examination and hepatitis vaccination.
