MALANKA 2010 The 6th Annual Ukrainian New Year Dinner Dance - MALANKA - will take place on Friday evening, January 15, 2010, 6:00pm to 1:00am, at St. Vladimir Parish Center, 428 North Seventh Avenue, Scranton. Michael Trusz and Kathleen Izak are serving as chairman and cochairman respectively. Sponsored by the combined Ukrainian organizations of Northeastern Pennsylvania, the event will be catered by Paul A. Wanas of Accentuate Caterers of Distinctive Events offering a generously varied American and Ukrainian dinner buffet including borshch, holubchi, chicken Kyiv, kobasa, pyrohy, along with a cash bar and dancing to the music of the internationally known orchestra Fata Morgana of New Jersey/New York plus a late night champagne toast.
