Latest dry process technology, the suspension pre-heater is equipped with
a pre-calciner. The pre-heated material is discharged into pre-calciner where
nearly 50% to 60% of the total required fuel is fired. The material is calcined
to more than 90% before being discharged into the Rotary Klin wherein remaining calcination and burning into the clinker takes place by firing balance 40% to 50%
fuel. Clinker is then ground in the Cement Mills along with suitable additives to
produce cement.
