Dear Sir,

Tel:234-1-7757041.
Fax:234-9-2721158.

STRICTLY CONFIDENTIAL
I got your address in the course of a discreet search
for a reliable person with whom to handle a very
confidential transfer from Nigeria of a sum of US$18
Million to a safe foreign account. I am a Principal
Accountant with the Department of the state Oil
corporation, the Nigerian National Petroleum
Corporation (NNPC). My duties amongst others include
evaluation and vetting of payment approvals for
foreign contractors and planning payments schedule for
contract jobs executed for the NNPC. The above fund in
question is not connected with Arms, Drugs or Money
laundering, it is an accumulation of the difference
arising from over inflated contracts which were
executed and fully paid for in the 1996, leaving off
the inflated balance of US$18 Million now lying
dormant in our books which my colleagues and I are
collaborating to siphon out to a reliable foreign
account for our benefit.

As civil servants, we do not have the necessary and
foreign account machinery to handle this operation,
because of the technicalities and expenses required
setting up and successfully concluding such operation.
This is why it became necessary to source for a
financier with the necessary capability to handle the
transaction, hence this letter. Upon receipt of your
positive reply to this proposal, I shall require you
to send me a safe and operational foreign bank
account, the Name, Address, Telex and Fax number of
the bank and company with which to process the
remittance of the money to your account. But if you
cannot for a reason handle this transaction. I should
be grateful if you introduce it to reliable and
willing person in which case your interest would be
properly taken care of in the transaction.
Consequently, it has been agreed that for your
co-operation and on successful conclusion, you will
receive 40% of the total sum remitted and 10% goes for
expenses incurred during this transaction, while the
balance comes to the Nigeria partners. Please send
your reply and further communication to the above
Fax/e-mail address.

Thanks for your co-operation,

Yours faithfully,

Dr Wale Adepoju
